Would you like to volunteer your time to help fight child hunger in our local area? Here's your chance! *YOU MUST REGISTER THROUGH THEIR WEBSITE before being permitted to attend this event per the organization. They are strict with their volunteering procedures. Therefore, please register on their website before RSVPing on here. I am uncertain of how many spots are still available or what their maximum limit is, so if anyone tries to register for this date & time slot and is unable to due to it being full, please let me know. I will also try to reach out to them before-hand (since I've now created a meetup for it) to see if I can guarantee us a certain number of spots. I'll update this page if so, but start with 8 RSVP slots for now. There are other days and times available as well!!! Our date and time is Sunday, August 26th from 3 pm - 5 pm. Children 7 and older are welcome! The link to their website for volunteering is: http://fal.cn/y13J They are also on FB. You have to register as a new volunteer and then find the Aug Sun volunteering dates. Feel free to message me if you any of this is confusing to you. What we're about

In your 30s or around there? Want to stick closer to downtown and neighboring 'hoods? Me too! I am very new to Dallas, so plan on exploring like a local checking out all the new, cool things that set this town apart, but also definitely playing "tourist" in my new city checking out some of the more cliché things to do, like the Reunion Tower. Why? Why not! If some of the below items sound like fun to you, please join me in exploring our Dallas! Zoo, arboretum, tours of all types, museums, performing arts, outdoor concerts, sporting events, happy hour, new restaurants, walking trails, cheap things on Groupon, two step lessons, random events found on Culture Map or Do 214, new stuff just because, and the occasional excursion to the 'burbs for random things like Adults Night @ Lego Land.
