I have not had any issues with downtown parking, though timing can be an issue.  It takes me FOREVER to get from work to home and I really have to rush to make it to a mutt mingle.

I like ideas about more outdoorsy stuff.  I love Long Beach's dog beach and prefer it over HB's.  Also, while it is certainly not for every person, there are a lot of nice little hikes in the foothills & many of them have water year round.  Places such as Runyon canyon also come to mind, but parking there makes parking near Pussy & Pooch seem like a dream.

Subject: [activedogs-282] any ideas or suggestions?

Hi Group,
Just wanted to reach out to get some feedback from the group. Over the past several months, we?ve had many great events and good turnouts. But there are still many of you who have not attended an event. So I?d like to get your feedback so we can get more of you to participate (and stop depriving your dogs of fun!). We?re open to ideas and want to design some events based on what the group wants.

Last year we had a few outdoor events and they were very successful. We?re in the planning stages for those events so we?ll keep you updated on those. Last year we held some events at J Lounge on their outdoor patio and had over 100 dogs (with food/drink for the adults and pets). We?re considering other venues, so please let me know if you have any suggestions or referrals. The location does not have to be downtown.

There?s no Mingle planned for May, but there will be one in June.

If you have time this weekend, there's a big outdoor dog (charity) event in Woodland Hills. We'll be there as a sponsor. So if you go, please stop by our booth for some free goodies.

Thanks,
Rob
