Downtown Mindfulness is a space for people coming together to practice and grow in compassion and awareness so they can then touch other people in their lives and it creates ripple effects of peace, well being, and creative possibilities for a better world for all. Currently we offer mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) classes and follow up sessions for people who have taken the MBSR class before. We will be offering mindfulness for professionals and mindful movement classes in the near future.
The opening ceremony will start with a guided meditation together. This is an opportunity to enjoy each others’ presence, celebrate our aliveness, and if you would like to share a gift of a poem, a song, or something meaningful to you, please bring that with you. This will be followed by light refreshments. This is a private event so please RSVP if you would like attend.
