All Dragonflies can schedule anything they'd like to do on the calendar

Awhile back, I changed the permissions to allow any member of the Dragonflies to schedule any event they'd like to directly on our calendar.  So, if there's something that you'd like to do, there are no limits.  Besides our regular a.m. hikes in Hemet, and the bi-weekly writing group, I'm going to schedule a play date once monthly on the calendar alternating between the East Side Dragonflies' habitat (Hemet, San Jacinto, Homeland, Beaumont, Winchester, Sage) and the West Side Dragonflies' habitat (Lake Elsinore, Wildomar, Temecula, Murrieta, Sun City/Menifee).  But I encourage anyone who wants to schedule a Dragonfly event at any time to go for it.

One word of advice:  usually  the "last minute" events tend to flop, (meaning no one attends).  I've posted a few last minute events on the calendar like the Beaumont Cherry Festival, and a few musical events, but I find that if I schedule something 2 to 3 weeks out, or even longer, more RSVPs roll in and more people attend.  It's just a little something to keep in mind when you are scheduling.

Also, I'm actively searching for a West Side co-organizer, or even someone on the East Side who doesn't mind scheduling events for the West side and attending them.  I've got a hairy schedule, so I could use the help. If someone could take over with scheduling and hosting one event per month in the west and attending, that would be so wonderful for me.  All co-organizing means is that you schedule an event (anything that sounds fun to you), post it on the calendar for everyone as host, and attend the event.  That's it.  No other obligation.  Promise.  Anyone interested?  If so, send me a message.

Hugs,

Peggy
