This sounds good so far, I have a Bev/Mo card and could pick up something there when they have a sale.
In addition, this event will be good for those of us who really haven't met yet and the setting would be perfect to have conversation. Nov 3rd good for me, I will stay tuned for more updates!

I purchased a "at home" wine tasting through PRP International. They come to us. We provide appetizers and they provide wine and education. What I found out from talking to Erin, the regional director for PRP is they EXPECT us to purchase a case of wine from them. Their wine is pricey, too. A case would run around $300. I'M THINKING NO WAY! How 'bout we scrap the tasting and simply have a little appetizer/wine party? Everyone bring a simple appetizer to share and either a bottle of inexpensive wine (Fresh and Easy or that liquor discount store on State Street offer really nice wines for under $8), or a non-alcoholic beverage like iced tea or lemonaide, and we can play a game, watch a film, or simply relax together? I tentatively set this for November 3rd, which still might work for most people, but the time is flexible. I'm thinking early afternoon works, but any time after noon is probably good. What do you all think?
