I like your suggestion, Toni.  That's a good way to avoid the defeat of our original purpose.  Thanks.  JoLynne

Hi everybody:
Instead of changing the nature of the group completely, what about having events that are labeled "co-ed", and for those meetups, open it to any fellas who want to come, or our significant others, or just men friends? There's always the tendency of the mixed sites to become a "singles meet" group, even unofficially, which will put some social pressure on us, instead of it being very relaxed.

I've been thinking about turning Dragonflies into a coed group, (Dragonfly Sisters and Brothers) open to anyone no matter gender.  We can stilll do lots of "sisters only" things, and of course, when we cross post with women's only groups, well keep our feminine buddies together as a gender set, but some events...like our walks and some other meetups...we might open to men-folk.  I'm not thinking this will become a "pick up hot singles" site, and I'll make that clear, but simply to allow hubbies, male friends, male significant others, and brothers to join us for those things that are appropriate.  My hubby already walks with us girls in the mornings,  attended the pow pow, and a movie, and it's nice to have him along once in awhile.  I know a few of you have menfolk in your lives you may wan to invite now and again to some of our meetups.
Before I change the look and feel of our page, change the color scheme, and change the "what we are about" page to invite in the testosterone set, I wanted to ask your opinion.  I won't go there if you are all more comfy with just "women only."  Lemme know, please.  Thanks.
Your input is valuable.  Thanks!
