This is the 20th year we've been drumming at the start of Heartbreak Hill. What began as a casual group turned into an official rite of passage. Originally organized by your Meetup leader, Alan Tauber then John Tracy till he moved away a few years ago. We expect all of our drummers and friends from DrumConnection and other places to come together to root these marathoners on to the finish line!
There are usually about sixty to 80 or more drummers!
Runners say it's the highlight of their trip. Some even like us so much they stop a moment to try the drums, take a photo with us.
Onlookers smile, police and military wave, TV cameras pass by, children dance.
Really special! Don't miss it!
Please RSVP so we know how to set up space.
