FEEDBACK
Great fun! Good rhythms. Very accommodating leader and group for this beginner. Will be back!”Adrienne S 10/18

"I had a great time, but I got home and tried some of the beats so I could hear how they sounded on my "toy" djembe (couldn't hear in the room), and I ... Thanks for a great time! Great energy in the room and great people too. Fred A. 6/21/19

"It was a purely joyful night. I was nervous, having never drummed before, yet you made me feel comfortable. The stories were an awesome bonus. Thank you so much best night I've spent in a long time. Can't wait till the next gathering." BB 10/22/19

"Thanks for another fun drum circle! Heading back to McD’s, drum strapped to my back, a woman approached me and said she enjoyed listening to us. I gave her the website for future event listings and invited her to bring a chair and listen if she wanted, plus I told her how fun drumming is and maybe try it herself! Jannine 4/10/21

"I am more than ever convinced, from my experience with you (Alan) and others at the DrumConnection over the past 20 years, that the work we do with these West African hand drumming rhythms and the sense of community and fellowship generated as we share through the music, brief though it may be, is an integral part of this current worldwide transformation - where each drummer contributes to the greater benefit of all." CL 2/23/21

The Master of All Masters and True Keeper of the Rhythms discussed when he met Alan Tauber, DrumConnection. (I love this man as much as my Father, maybe more!) We spend about 20 years working together in workshops in Simbaya Gare, Guinea, and Boston. Often with famous player Mamady Keita for a well-rounded tour of different styles and comfort with the djembe... see the video below...
