Do you label yourself as "bad at maths" and use this excuse readily to conveniently explain your reluctance to double-check your dinner bills without reaching for calculator on your phone? Did you have bad experience with your former Maths teacher that the mere mention of "cosine 30 degree" sends a chill down your spine? Did you know that solving Maths problems activates some parts of your brain which are responsible for logics? Do you want to overcome your traumatic experience with Maths by revisiting high-school level of Maths to keep your wetware shipshape or just for the heck of it or even to prove to your former Maths teacher that it's not you who was hopeless, it's actually him/her who failed you as your teacher?
If you answer yes to all those questions, then join me for a fun session of approximately 2 hours every week of solving high-school Maths problems. If we get carried away, who knows, maybe we'll improve to university-level of problems. Calculus, anyone?
This group will not charge or sell or offer you any thing/service. It is completely free. But if we meet in a café, please buy a cuppa for yourself. Also, please bring a few sheets of paper and a pen/pencil, so you don't have to scribble on a tissue paper!
