What we're about

Dublins original and still best Adventure sports group, we were set up in 2012 as a way for like minded people to get together and do something a little different with their spare time.

Unlike some groups we are not here to make money, instead we want to recreate that sense of heading off with a group of friends to do something fun, so if you like the idea of tearing around a karting track or fancy a weekend of rock climbing and kayaking then this could be the group for you.

Member participation is highly encouraged, this group is all about meeting new people and trying things that you might never have tried before, so if you have any ideas for events then just let the organisers know and lets see if we can bring a bit of adventure into our lives!

Bouldering at Gravity

Gravity Climbing Centre

Get your climb on at Gravity! This meetup is for beginners and intermediate climbers looking for a friendly bunch of people to spend time with at the local climbing gym. All experience levels are welcome, but you'll get the most meetup if you've tried bouldering or climbing before and are working on improving your technique. I've only been climbing for about five months myself. Spending time with other climbers and improving with practice is one of the most rewarding parts of this sport! Climbing during peak hours at Gravity is €9 for members/€10 for non-members. Rental shoes are available for €3.50 if needed. If you're an absolute beginner and never climbed before, shoot me a note! Gravity has some rules we need to follow, but we should be able to make it work. If you have any questions, feel free to send me a direct message! Balbriggan Beach Volleyball.

Balbriggan Train Station

Join us to play Beach Volleyball in Balbriggan and have some picnic and an ice-cream 😋. It will be fun and a great way to spend the afternoon. I will be at 14:30h outside Balbriggan train station. Once people arrive we will walk to the beach. It's very easy to arrive so if you come on a later train you will see the beach anyway and us playing on it. I am looking for people to play and have fun, I am not a professional and we do not need hot weather for playing it. It's great fun and good exercise too!! ☺️ You can get the train at 13:30h from Pearse station and get off the train on Balbriggan. The train goes from Pearse station to Drogheda. It takes 45 minutes to arrive to Balbriggan. Please be on time as the trains are every hour on Saturday. The following link will help you to check the train timetable: http://journeyplanner.irishrail.ie/bin/query.exe/en You will see the beach once you get off the train and we will be on the right hand side of it. It is a very shelter beach so we could play very well without wind. The car park in front of the beach is free but not the one on the train station. Please go to the end of Quay Street. There is also another alternative: 101 Bus Eireann. https://www.buseireann.ie/timetables/101-1515759575.pdf You could get 101 Bus Eireann bus to Drogheda at 13:30h in Talbot street under the bridge in front of "Il Capo" pizza shop, 62 Talbot St. By the way I recommend to eat there it is very tasty: good value for price 😋 Please ask the driver to drop you off on the nearest bus stop to Balbriggan beach. Under any circumstances take the 33 Dublin Buses to Balbriggan. It takes 2h to arrive and some times leaves people in Skerries. Also the bus stop when it gets to Balbriggan is a little bit far from the beach. 😳 Please keep an eye on this site the same day because if it’s raining I’ll cancel it on the same day at least with two hours in advance. 😉 Any doubts please ask here, I'll keep an eye on the site or contact us on this phone number:[masked]
