Time for Christmas Carols!

  • NCH

    NCH Earlsfort Tce., Dublin (map)

  • The Glory of Christmas concert at the National Concert Hall is always a great event - we've been there as a group for the past couple of years - it is lovely to get away from the shopping and do a bit of singing instead. This is the Matinee show and we could finish up with a mince pie or two.
Tickets are available now on NCH website - we usually sit en masse in the Choir balcony (behind the stage) so that we can all be together and make more noise. These seats cost approx €26, but if you prefer to sit elsewhere we can meet up afterwards.
I look on this event as Finish-up-Day-for-Retirees - who don't have office parties to go to!

Got tickets for myself and mum ...she won't make it up to the choir balcony, so we'll have a sing off from below! Are we meeting at the venue or just meeting up after the concert?

Likely afterwards in the lobby - people with tickrts in the choir balcony don't have allocated seats so need to head straight there for the best spots. I'll post meeting spot near the date

Just heard an ad on Lyric for Christmas Carols in NCH on THURSDAY 22 and I had booked Friday 23rd. Thank goodness you referred to "Glory of Christmas"!

Yes, there is a similar concert on 22nd - "Carols by Candlelight" - but I think the choice of carols on our event is nicer!
