So you want to swim?

Seals get their fins on! from Gráinne Gavigan on Vimeo

What to bring!

  • A sense of adventure!
  • What ever you want to swim in: swimsuit, bikini, mankini, speedos, bermudas, wetsuit
  • For cooler weather a silicone or rubber hat helps keep the heat in, neoprene gloves and socks
  • Ear plugs to protect from the freezing winter sea temperatures
  • Sunscreen, if we're lucky
  • Plasters and balms for scratches and itches

For after the swim:

  • A flask of hot beverage to warm you up
  • A warm hat or hood and a few extra layers.
