Nadine Zein will walk us through building a blog or business website using WordPress. We'll cover:

- Choosing your domain name and hosting plan
- Installing WordPress
- Securing your website with SSL
- Customizing your website

Do you have an idea you want to take online? No clue where to start?
Join us on Tuesday, February 25 at the Whitby Public Library and we will guide you step by step with the setup and creation of your own WordPress website.

We will cover domain names and hosting plans, explore various methods for working with WordPress, discuss securing your site with SSL and, most importantly, help you customize your site to make it your own.

This session is open for anyone to join whether you are new to WordPress or not. Bring with you any questions you might have and feel free to share your experience with others.

About the presenter:

Nadine Zein has over 10 years of design and development experience. She's a Boston University web development graduate with a graphic design Bachelor of Arts degree from the American University of Beirut.

As the founder and creative director of Boavi, a boutique creative design and digital technology agency, she has supported companies of all sizes with their web application needs spanning a wide range of fields from architecture and education to natural resources and medical research.
