Dear DIYBio community,

Exciting news from the Open Wetlab! The registrations have opened for an intense biohack bootcamp that will start on February 17, 2015:

Biohack Academy course 1: Biofactory

Build your own biofactory in 10 weeks in Waag Society’s FabLab and Open Wetlab. Make all the equipment you need and use an organism from our collection to produce biomaterials such as pigments, cellulose, algae, fuel and more. During weekly lectures you will also learn the basics of biotechnology, 3D design, digital manufacturing, programming and electronics. Life has no limit!

For more info and subscription go to: www.waag.org/biohackacademy

This is the ultimate opportunity to take your biohack skills to the next level and start your own personal biolab. Also, 2 scholarships are available for students enrolled in Ba or MSc studies.

Feel free to contact me for any questions: [address removed]

All the best,

Pieter van Boheemen
