What we're about

The Dye Hard Toastmasters Club of Belmont, NC celebrated its 33rd year in May 2019. We meet Tuesday evenings from 7:00-8:15pm at Gaston College Kimbrell Campus, Room 220, 7230 Wilkinson Blvd., Belmont, NC 28012.

Our members communicate via the Toastmaster website. http://dyehard.toastmastersclubs.org/index.cgi?memberlogo ...

We are an active group dedicated to learning and helping each other improve communication and leadership skills. The environment in a Toastmasters club is friendly and supportive from complete beginners to advanced speakers.

In a club meeting, you can practice giving prepared speeches as well as brief impromptu presentations. The Toastmasters program allows you to progress at your own pace. Constructive evaluation is central to the Toastmasters philosophy. Each time you give a prepared speech, an evaluator will point out strengths as well as often helpful improvements. Receiving, and giving, such feedback is a great learning experience. In Toastmasters, encouragement and improvement go hand-in-hand.

Guests are always welcome.

Note: Attendance shown in this Meetup site does not reflect actual participation.
