  • Dear Dykes and Queer People:

The location and the exact/date and time have not yet been confirmed for our future series Meditation Practices for Anger and Forgiveness.  Stay tuned.

The upcoming series is going to be absolutely awesome.  In the summer, there was a very small group that joined me for Radical Listening.  We did deep work; it was new and really scary; and very revealing.  This work will jump off of that work.  Beginners will be welcome; and there will be plenty of instruction, but the class will be based in Meditation and Listening Practices.

If you feel stuck mentally; or emotionally; or like you are wanting to connect more deeply with people but find the pace of this planet off the chart, you may like this class.  If you are scared to come, this is probably your class too.

It will be an opportunity to practice slowing down; being present; and looking at the way Anger is energy that can be moved; and often Forgiveness (which Is its own meditation practice) can move it.  I haven't figured out all the details, but the best thing you can do is:

    1. Give me your email if you want direct updates.  My website is blacksheepyoga and I send updates from my email address [masked]

    2. I'm going to be raising money to rent the space so when I put stuff up, please help me repost it on Facebook.

    More importantly:

    1. Show up to do the work with me.

Cross your fingers that we can start in February.  And while Anger and Forgiveness might not sound like a "good time," I like to think that seeing stuff actually move and change is rather fun and surprising.  If I thought it would be more fun to teach the same vinyasa yoga class, I'd do that....but this may surprise you.

    Light to y'all,

Driving from where I live and work to the class would be a bit of a haul, but should be manageable as long as traffic isn't snarled.

I hope you can make it; it's a 1 hour class but you are welcome to come in late.
