Routine for opening JS Study sessions

I think this group could use some structure, so folks can demonstrate their interest and skill sets. I'd like to see the first 30 minutes dedicated to Q&A, a programming topic, or member presentations.

What are folks thoughts and how might we go about creating an initial routine of welcoming new comers and topics?

I think that's a really good idea. Perhaps we could spend a certain amount of time covering the patterns people use for achieving certain canonical things - such as login and authentication.
