We have a special guest and a very exciting meetup lined up. Lawrence Coburn, Founder & CEO of DoubleDutch. a company that is embracing mobile and social to change the way people work. Lawrence is also the geolocation editor for The Next Web, and is a mentor at IO Ventures, a San Francisco based incubator, and Acceleprise.VC, an enterprise focused incubator. He is a mentor for UC Berkeley Computer Science students and an advisory board member for Enterprise 2.0. A three-time entrepreneur, Lawrence also founded RateItAll, a top-ten consumer review property.
Lawrence is going to talk about some of the astonishing metrics around the growth of mobile in the enterprise, and discuss the opportunities and risks for both companies and vendors.Some of the themes that will be discussed include mobile's impact on existing systems of record, SoMoClo, and smartphone as a sensor as it relates to business intelligence.
