Wednesday Trail Work in San Luis Obispo open-space (Beginners OK)
Who do you think makes and maintains the trails we hike on? Well, we do! As part of a larger community of trail workers. It is a work in progress of many hands, and, it's a great workout too! Description: This week we will continue to work on the trails. With the amount of rain that fell in the rainy season in the spring of 2017, it has caused a lot of vegetation to grow, needing to be trimmed or removed. The more volunteers the sooner we will get the work done as always. Suggested wear: long pants, long sleeves, sturdy shoes, gloves, and a hat. Sandals not allowed. You wouldn't wear them on a trail anyways? Bring: water, snack and a smile. Tools: Furnished, guidance will be provided Work-time Duration: up to 3 hours The Work of the World is completed by those that show up! Rain: Rain or excessively muddy conditions cancel this event. Questions? Marv Thank you for all your support, signed, SLO County Trail Users!

Current place: Meet at the Bishop Peak Trailhead on Patricia Drive in SLO.
