As the sun and the Summer return on the Solstice, let us get together to honor the Hawaiian Goddess, PELE. As I write this Pele has awoken in the form of the Volcanic activity seen on the islands of Kilauea.
This Polynesian fire Goddess, known for her hot temper and jealous nature, is also considered a Mother goddess, as her cooling lava created the lush and flower-filled islands of Hawaii.
Through movement, meditation and more we will explore the legend and meaning of this powerful Goddess and our own inner fiery natures to bring out the expansive Creatrix in each of us.
Please bring small tokens of flowers, crystals, sea shells, fruit, or rocks to make a ho'opuku (tribute) for the Goddess. You can also bring gin, fruit juice, pineapple, macadamia nuts or any other goodies to share with your sisters.
Embody the Goddess is a monthly circle of women who meet to explore the Goddess Within and Without in an environment of sisterhood, sharing and self-actualization. You must register in advance to participate. Pricing for this meeting is $30. Register here: https://bit.ly/2KtGA25. Or bring a friend and pay $50 for both.
