Have you tried to create HDR images, only to find they had large halos, looked artificial, or contained too much contrast? Have you wondered about how to create top-quality pictures using digital blending to combine multiple exposures? Well, now you can learn from an expert how the pros create beautiful pictures like this one:
Our own Ashraf Jandali will be offering a training course where he will explain the major features of Lightroom, teach you how to organize your images so that you can find them later, cover the basics of Photoshop, and last but not least, describe the techniques he uses for digital blending.
Not an expert already? Don't worry. This workshop is for those of us who are beginning their journeys into post-processing, and requires no previous experience. Just bring along a laptop with Photoshop and Lightroom installed; free trial versions of both programs are available online.
The course will include six sessions (January 13, 15, 20, 22, 27, and 29) and run from 6 PM until 9 PM. For EPyC members, we will be charging AED 900 only.
The course will be held at the offices of our partners, Studio Attitude, in Al Quoz, located in the same series of warehouses as Botanica. Please deposit the training fees in advance to secure your place - seats are limited, and we won't be accepting RSVPs on this page, although we will be happy to answer any questions you have about the event.
If you need help figuring out how to get to the venue, check out the location map, or make use of the GPS coordinates [masked],[masked]). More information on the venue can be found on the Studio Attitude site or at 04 3384114. We also have YouTube videos showing you how to get there from Sheikh Zayed Road, with detailed text directions posted underneath. This one shows the way if you are coming from the direction of the World Trade Centre and Dubai Mall, and this one depicts the way from the direction of Abu Dhabi, the marina, and Al Barsha.
