Fellow EPyC members,
You might have heard some rumors about a trip to Liwa. Yes it is real and there is a good news and a bad news... The good news is that we have managed to get more spaces for EPyC members and the bad news is that those spaces are very limited. Therefore I'm opening it on first come first serve basis. (Please note that confident and advanced photographers will get the most out of this trip)
It is an exclusive opportunity to meet top photographers from the GCC and the world in a spectacular location. EPyC members are invited to spend time with professional photographers during a trip to the Empty Quarter, the world's largest sand desert.
We will leave from Dubai on the morning of January 17 for Liwa, where we arrive at noon. There, we will have lunch, and meet with the international photographers. Ninety minutes before sunset, we will head into the desert to look for the idea place to click photos of the virgin sand. You will be free to form your own groups or stay with everyone else, as is your preference. When we are finished, we will return to the camp for a barbecue dinner and rest early to wake up before sunrise, when we would like to be back in the desert for another round of photography.
The night of the 17th will feature a full moon, making this trip to photograph the desert an even more special experience. Moon rise will be at 8:50 PM.
As for our second day, can you imagine a more scenic setting for breakfast than on top of the highest sand dune in an area that looks like a dry lake? After we eventually return to the camp, we will eat lunch, and you are then free to either spend the day with the group, and stay for another sunset, or to leave early.
The cost for this adventure will be AED 700 per person. This includes charges for staying in a very well occupied camp, the cost of four meals, and the rental of buggies that will take us from the camp into the desert and back. Each of the five rooms in the camp will have space for four people and include a bathroom. Don't worry about bringing a four-wheel drive: the camp is adjacent to a major road, and can be reached with any kind of vehicle.
Please call me on[masked] (Amr) if you are interested in joining us or if you have any questions about the trip. Please note that spaces are very limited and since it's a paid event you will only guarantee your RSVP by paying to one of the organizers at the earliest.
