Tell us a little bit about yourself. Where are you from, are you new in town... ?

Originally from Bangalore, I moved to Dubai when I was 5 and have been living here for the last 25 years. Would describe myself as a very passionate amateur photographer that finds post processing extremely therapeutic after a long day of work.

What specific areas of photography are you most interested in?

While my area of preference is and probably always will be Landscape Photography, I have recently developed a keen interest in City Scape and Architectural photography. HDR is also something that fascinates me. To be honest, I tend to photograph anything that catches my fancy.

What would you most like to learn about or improve in your photography?

My styles and tastes are constantly evolving and therefore I love experimenting. Would definitely love to learn more about Macro photography. As always, would also be keen to learn new post processing techniques. I have also been curious about using graduated filters ...

What photography skills can you share with other members?

While I do have an undying love for photography, I don't feel that I have fine tuned my skills enough to actually impart knowledge on anyone else. I am fairly well versed with High Dynamic Range photography and with Photo Shop and would be more than happy to share my limited knowledge with anyone patient enough to deal with my skewed sense of humour.

Does your profile photo clearly show your face (and nobody else’s) and list your real name (first name at least)? If you have an objection to uploading a photo, please explain it to an organizer at an EPyC event before submitting your application.

Yup...this was the only one I had on my computer at the time.
