Fellow EPyC members,

On behalf of the EPyC board, I'd like to thank you for making Yesterday's photowalk such a record success. No fewer than 140 of you braved the summer heat. It was lovely to see so many people, old and new members alike, all sharing a common passion.

Let me take this opportunity to tell you about a few of the things we are doing:

Next Tuesday, we have the latest in our long line of biweekly events, where our members get to learn more during presentations about photography, talk about their work, and participate in competitions. This week, we'll be treated to a presentation on art and photography, including light calligraphy. Don't miss out!

The day before that, we have our next photowalk, at a spot under Garhoud Bridge, on the Deira side of the creek. It's a great spot for long exposures, so we hope to see you there with your tripods. More information on all our events is available at the website, so if you've not visited lately, do check it out:

We still have three slots left for this Wednesday's Coffee and Critique session, so feel free to join the waitlist and email two photos to [address removed] if you'd like to join us; we had such a great time at the last event that we decided to hold these every two weeks.

As always, feel free to contact an organizer if you have any other ideas for group activities, or any feedback you'd like to pass on. EPyC is a club made up of its members, and it's always great to hear from you, the people who make everything we do possible.
