Eagle River Camera Club Monthly Meeting

Okay, last minute change.  Annie is not able to attend this month.  Hopefully we'll be able to re-schedule with her sometime during the winter.

For tonight we'll have a group discussion and (hopefully) practice on photographing the aurora.  We'll spend some time discussing techniques for shooting and post processing.  We'll also discuss good locations and other items to bring along with you.

Bring your camera and tripod (if you own one).

Consider bringing a folding chair.  We have seating for about nine or ten and we're expecting about 20 folks this evening.

My girlfriend and I are new to the area. Where does the club meet?

I was wondering if anyone could do a lighting demo, nothing fancy just something if we had lights (or could bring) and then play around with everyone taking photos and seeing different effects.

A note on Karl's comment, sort of like the idea but would not want to discourage people from coming for lack of $5 fee. Not sure how to balance that.

I would like to recommend that you Marco starts collecting $5 per person fee for each event. The $5 would go to pay for the time for the guest speaker as well as any coffee, and ect.
