- Flying Photography Safari
THIS TRIP IS FULL if there is enough people on the wait list or that otherwise contact me , I will look for a second date. Four people minimum. [masked] the 19th is cancelled due to lack of interest. The 26th is still a go!!) Hey Everybody Once again I have talked with Rusts Flying Service to get us a plane for our own custom photography safari. Ideally we will go over the Chugach mountains for aerials of snowy peaks and glacier valleys. Once into Prince William Sound I have several options of getting us to shore to shoot glaciers, waterfalls and an abandoned gold mine. All is weather dependent and the choice between Cessna 206 Or DHC2 Beaver depends on how many sign up. We need a minimum of 4 folks. At $550 each or 6 folks at $475 ea. It’s expensive but still less than half of what tourists pay for a day long trip. We plan to be airborne by 10:ish and back around 6:00. Bring a lunch, and water shoes or boots to get to shore in. First come first served but you’re not on the list until your 50% deposit is paid. Full refund if cancelled for weather. Otherwise no refund. I will post this on the club activity calendar ASAP. - TPF - Thursday Photo Fun
We will do a Photo Walk around Eagle River and then return back to the studio to share what we captured. Should be lots of fun. Now that weather is more pleasant and the days are getting longer, this a great opportunity to see what we can find somewhat spontaneously! So bring your gear, whether it is your cell phone camera, your Digital SLR or your point and shoot. We are going to be hands on Thursday night!
