This is a take-off of a book club I had started many years ago, but much more loose. The book is optional. I always found it motivating to read a book others are, too. It's another topic to be able to discuss on the walk...but, no pressure. I'll attach the book name with the date of the hike as a goal time for those who choose to read one. You are more than welcome to join if you had not had a chance to read it. This is for those who are fairly fit, and interested in sneaking in a good early morning jaunt (8am on a Fri or Sat) before everyone's day gets too busy. It will either involve a relatively fast paced 3-5 mile walk or hike (e.g., Howarth-Spring Lake loop, Lake Ilsanjo,...).
