Peter- I couldn't agree more on progressing the Earthship mindset everyday! For myself, I found I spent all of my time constantly researching Earthships after I got heavily into the idea; which can greatly impact one's personal life. Unless you're a master builder or Academy graduate though, most of us are just scratching the surface so the light at the end of the tunnel may seem incredibly far away.

To focus on Earthships daily, I spend a lot of time thinking about necessary steps I must take or learning various skills that push me closer to the Earthship goal. Whether it be selling an existing home, acquiring gardening skills, learning how to can food or spreading the Earthship idea... it all counts in our push to globalize the Earthship lifestyle and get ourselves closer to living it.

Think of ways to eradicate any debt you may have accrued. People will realize many other goals require completion before their Earthship is within sight. We'll all get there someday!

Fantastic. My mind was complete mush by the end of the conference. How can we have this mind set and be active in progressing earthships daily?

Hello Earthlings! The workshop was definitely a lot of fun! Mike Wird and Mike Reynolds along with guest speakers made the weekend worth every second! Between the knowledge M.R. provided us and the energy Wird spread about, it made for a fantastic weekend leaving everyone with cheeky smiles! Unfortunately the camera I took was not up to snuff and the video recording turned out to be too dark to see. For anyone that attended, please post some photos you took.

Boulder local and guest speaker Avery Ellis gave a great talk on aquaponics and the benefits of constructing even a simple system! Visit his page for questions and consultations! -

James Fry is another guest from the Boulder community that spoke about his experience attending Earthship Biotecture's Internship in Toas, NM. Touch base with him and learn more about his projects! -!

I'll be organizing some events soon so please check back and come join us!

Only a couple more days everyone! I will be hanging around afterward to meet those of you that will be attending. I will however, be slightly occupied while volunteering for the workshop; breaking down and setting things up. Hope to see you all there!
