East Bank Havurah is an egalitarian fellowship of people of diverse backgrounds and ages seeking to practice Judaism in a joyful participatory manner. Spiritual growth, as individuals and as a community, is the cornerstone of our group. We take turns leading services and encourage members to expand their participation at their own pace. The Havurah usually meets the 1st & 3rd Saturday mornings and 2nd & 4th Friday evenings each month as well as a monthly Shabbat afternoon text study and for most holidays. We were formed more than 40 years ago with the inspiration and guidance of Rabbi Zalman Shachter Shalomi, **זצ״ל**. We currently meeting virtually via Zoom as well as in-person (when someone volunteers to host).
