At 10 miles and 3000 ft elevation gain, this is going to be our first serious hike. Only those who have hiked at least 7-8 miles should sign up. A steep long uphill and downhill and we will go at a fast pace. A good description of the trail is on EveryTrail.com:
We will have our yoga practice at the summit. Be ready for a windy and cold weather at the peak. Rain cancels. Remember that you will have to carry your yoga mat, food and water.
There will be a point of return for those who find our pace too challenging. After that point, we have to stay together as a group - I take safety in the mountains very seriously.
Yogis whose RSVP was confirmed, please, be considerate of those on the waiting list. If you are not going to attend, please, RSVP 'No'. If you just don't show up for the event without cancelling out, your future chances to join us on the hikes will be limited. You will be moved to the waiting list for as long as anybody else is waiting.
