New Meetup: Ericksonian Hypnotherapy Workshop for NLP Practitioners

From: Leslie N.
Sent on: Saturday, October 30, 2010 3:46 PM
Announcing a Special Opportunity for East Bay NLPers!

What: Ericksonian Hypnotherapy Workshop for NLP Practitioners

When: Saturday, November 13, 10:00 AM - 6:00PM

Cost: $100

Where: Mind Therapy Clinic
150 Nellen Ave, Ste 100
Corte Madera, CA 94925

One of the core models of NLP practice comes from Milton Erickson. His elegant way of finding the clients own meanings and metaphors, and then using them for the client's healing, is at the heart of our work.

Have you ever wanted to go deeper into Ericksonian techniques?
Ever wanted to get inside the head of the master, just a bit? This workshop, led by Eric Greenleaf, PhD (see bio below), will be specifically for NLP practitioners and others interested in NLP.

Eric's description: "Hypnotic therapy is a focused and collaborative relational enterprise whose meanings are constructed through imaginative acts during a continuing conversation. We will learn how to compose a natural, mutually attentive healing state with metaphor rich conversations, using the client's own 'expertise.'"

Eric will offer demos, give us exercises, and of greatest interest to practitioners, use our own case studies in group conversations to brainstorm different Ericksonian approaches for what we are doing in our daily work with clients.

Eric Greenleaf, PhD,
directs the Milton H. Erickson Institute of the Bay Area, practices in Albany, CA, and teaches worldwide. He wrote The Problem of Evil: Ancient Dilemmas and Modern Therapy, and researches Balinese and western trance healing. Milton Erickson, MD chose Eric to receive the first Milton H. Erickson Award of Scientific Excellence for Writing in Hypnosis.

To register: go to Erickson Workshop Registration. Or email me at Leslie Nipps.
