What we're about

San Francisco Options Traders Meetup is branching out to East Bay! This group is for options traders, investors using options in their portfolios, and individuals interested in learning more about options. The goal is to meet and enhance our knowledge of option concepts, tools, strategies, and techniques making us in the process more successful traders and investors. We will benefit from sharing the diverse option investment approaches of our members, and bring in guests who can help us gain even more information. We welcome all experience levels.

East Bay Options Traders RESUME via ZOOM 6:30-8PM Wed of Expiry week

**NOTE: August 2020 Meeting moved to Tuesday 5:30PM/PT of expiration week** **ViRTUAL/ZOOM Meeting update** **For ZOOM Instructions, please register one-day-in-advance** Due to the COVID-19 virus, we'll be moving this month's meeting ONLINE. PLease register in advance, and I will send Zoom instructions to those registered. As we talked about in this group this past winter, I will be teaching Risk Management at Berkeley this summer, and they were kind enough to provide me a Zoom education account. I believe this goes beyond the Free-account access meeting of ~45minutes. We'll see! Lots to learn on my end, but it should be fun. However, please expect some hiccups and please be patient. I'll send a group invite to those who have already registered. If you haven't and would like to join, I can't promise I'll be able to get to these requests prior to the 6:30PM start on 3/25, I'll try to send you the login instructions prior. (to be fair, my day job keeps us very busy) (please put EBOT/SFOT in the email title) Be well & Be safe! Jonathan [masked] ***Greetings! The "East Bay Options Traders" meetup resumed 8/2018 after a brief hiatus! Until we can find a SF location for the "SF Options Traders" to meet, Let's continue to plan to meet in San Ramon the Wednesday of the week of Options Expiration week - the 3rd Friday of each month. ALL levels are welcome to attend. This will enable us to fine-tune any trades we have on for expiration & plan rolls / closeouts/ etc. The plan will be to follow an institutional "Investment Committee Agenda" to start the conversation, and move on to topics on the mind of the group: newbies to learn, intermediates to talk strategy, and the advanced to get into the weeds. We will occasionally bring guest speakers, and turn to CNBC's weekly "Options Action" show to review trades / ideas/ segments and compare it to our own portfolios and goals. All-levels are welcome & Looking forward to seeing this group again! -Jonathan PS - If things go planned, the agenda will be: 6:30-6:45PM East Bay Options Traders reconnect & introductions 6:45-7:15PM Investment Committee Discussion 7:15-7:45PM Group discussion & current topics 7:45-8PM Post-presentation discussion & Event Recap for EBOTraders, as well as future discussion topics We often go over basics to start each meeting, and then move onto more complex topics/ trades/ strategies as the group continues. (Read: if you're new, c'mon by early) (If you're advanced, feel free to stroll in later).
