EAST BAY OVER FORTY SINGLES
Issue No. 2 DECEMBER 2012
Welcome to our second monthly newsletter. We are still experimenting with the format, as the last Newsletter did not transfer well to some I-phones.
As we enter into the holiday season and the ninth month since the birth of this group, we once again want to say thank you to all of our members for making it what it has become thus far. I know for myself, as I enter 2013, I can look back upon 2012, with many fond memories; many of which are because of this group. When this group was created, we had a vision, but never dreamt it would evolve the way it has, and how many wonderful, new friendships would be developed.
We are hoping that this monthly Newsletter, proves to be a valuable tool, for our members; and helps some of our members to find new jobs.
We encourage our members to cc the core leadership team (Dianne, Nikki and Kitty) when sending your classifieds for our newsletter.
Dianne - email@example.com
Nikki – Nikkibliss@aol.com
Kitty – firstname.lastname@example.org

Congratulations go out to our newest member of the leadership team, Francois. He is now an ASSISTANT ORGANIZER who will enhance the event offerings for our group members. Francois will start organizing some health and wellness/sporting events for us! As you know, Francois is an avid biker, hiker, and snowboarder! He understands football and baseball very well too, which are not really the strengths of Dianne, Nikki, and Kitty!
His first hosted event is a FREE Zumba class, which is scheduled for Wednesday, December 5th, at 6:30 at the Sports Basement in Walnut Creek; please refer to the event description, for more details. Only six spots left!!! Let us all welcome Francois in his new role as a health and wellness/sports organizer/host!
The Leadership team wants to take a moment to thank all of our event hosts that have helped us many times, by stepping up to the plate. By hosting scheduled events that we are unable to attend, this has prevented us from having to cancel the event.
Dave, Elaine, Ellen, Geoff, J, Kathy K., Perri, Ross and Lisa; thank you so much; you guys are awesome!!!
On a final note, the Leadership team would like to wish our members, a very Happy Holiday Season. Let’s continue to make fond memories in the New Year, and may 2013 prove to be the best year yet!!!
