Uke Club's December Jam in Zephyrhills

**Please note we will not be in the community room this month. I was told they want us in the dining area (where we used to meet) so more people can watch and hear us.  I prefer the community room but don't have a choice.

For those that are unfamiliar with the monthly jam, we typically hang out and have a relaxed session of playing songs dated between the 1950s and the present--with emphasis on more contemporary music, including rock and pop music.

Please bring your uke, music stand (if you have one), and a singing voice. We normally jam in unison so nobody feels self-conscious...This is for fun! We are not pros! We are not performers!

Also, please download music tabs (under "Files") for the specific date's jam and bring your "Jumpin' Jim's The Daily Ukulele Book" and the new "Leap Year Version" if you have it. The book can be purchased at any Sam Ash Music Store, Barnes & Noble, or online at

The song list for the December jam will be emailed out in the near future.  If you have any special requests or want to suggest a song, please upload the music to the "Files" section of the website.  Our rule is "If you suggest it, you lead it."

Part of the jam is for songs on the agenda--and the last portion of the time is spent on "open call" or impromptu suggestions. If you feel like doing a demonstration, solo, or duo--by all means, do it!  This jam is loose and not held to a firm structure so experimentation and creativity are encouraged.

For Files:

To defray the monthly cost of the website, a $1 donation is suggested.
