EV Family Member, Welcome to our family Meetup group! ***~~ We are not accepting new members ~~** Our goal is to create a close-knit group of under 50 people. We ask that you please join our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/groups/EVFamilies/). We use this page to keep regular day to day communication to further strengthen our relationships. In order to run this group smoothly, here are some common courtesy practices that EV Family members will be expected to follow. 1. Picture please. Your profile picture must have you, your child or family completely visible. This will help to locate each other at events and ensure no one gets left out! 2. RSVP correctly. Yes or no we need to know who will be attending the event. If the event has already started and you need change your yes to a no, you will have to leave a comment. 3. Attendance. We are here to build strong bonds for ourselves, our children, and our family so seeing each other often IS important. The expectation is that you try and attend at least 1 event per month. Exceptions; Vacations, family additions, family emergencies, etc. 4. Be friendly & open minded. Making friends and putting yourself out there is hard for everyone, this group encourages personal and family interaction. Reach out and include all members attending the event. Everyone is different! Everyone parents different! Let’s accept each other for who we are. Once again we are here to connect and bond with other families, being open minded is the only way to achieve that. 6. Sick policy. If you or your child is sick, please stay home until everyone is well. 7. No soliciting. We enjoy buying locally and love supporting personal business but we are focused on building family connections. 8. Dues. As of right now we have a sponsor, so NO dues. However if a time comes where we do not have a sponsor there will be a small fee to cover the meetup cost only. At that time we would divide the total amongst all members. 9. Events. Feel free to suggestion or even host an event. Contact an organizer and they will help. House play date, park fun, field trips, and splash pad anything you think the kids would enjoy.
