Fw: Michelle sent you a message: Moby-Dick/San Francisco Opera Collaboration?

From: Anthony

Hi, everyone. :-)
Here's something rather interesting I got in my e-mail inbox today. This fall, there will be a theatrical production of Moby Dick, scheduled to be performed this fall in San Francisco in October and November 2012. Although we haven't read the novel as a group, nor is it on our reading schedule for this year, I hope this may interest some of you. In fact, if there's enough interest, we could probably schedule a meetup to attend the show.
Let me know what you all think. Please send replies to [address removed]. Thank you. :-)

Moby-Dick/San Francisco Opera Collaboration?

My name is Michelle Oing and I am writing from the Education Department at the San Francisco regarding our upcoming opera, Moby-Dick, which will be performed from October 10-November 2, 2012 ( Of course, this opera is based on Melville’s famous work, and so we are hoping to collaborate with local book clubs. Ideally, your book club would read Moby-Dick, and then attend the opera. We are still working out the details, but we would hope to offer your members discounted tickets to the show.

Please let me know if you have any questions, or if there is anyone with whom I should be in contact. If at all possible, could you respond to this message by emailing my work email, [address removed]? Thanks!

Looking forward to hearing from you,
