New Meetup: January Wine Tasting at Regions Bistro

From: Tana E.

Announcing a new Meetup for The Chandler/Gilbert Wine Meetup Group!

What: January Wine Tasting at Regions Bistro

When: January 13,[masked]:30 PM

Price: $15.00 per person

Regions Bistro
640 S. Mill Ave, Suite 110a
Tempe, AZ 85281

For January we're trying something different and it will be more of a casual and inexpensive wine tasting. The theme for Regions Bistro & Bar is about the many different places we've all come from. While the core idea at Regions is ?American Comfort Food,? each month they create a special menu to honor another section of America ? from the Midwest, New England and the Great Lakes to the Pacific Northwest, Rocky Mountains and the Deep South. Cocktails and other libations can be matched up to accompany their regional tastes to complete the dining experience.

We'll be tasting 4 different wines (2 whites and 2 reds) and be informed about them from the wine expert. After that those wines can be purchased by the glass for only $5. We'll also have 4 or 5 appetizers to accompany the wines, but not as a pairing, and served family style. (some of my choices are; prime rib sliders, homemade mac n cheese, fried calamari, chicken tenders, gorgonzola fries, beer battered onion rings, or some of the salads). I will try to let you know later what I pick!

See you there,
