Our volunteers share a passion for Oakland and local artist which inspires the growth and engagement of a thriving volunteer community. Over 100 volunteers carry out a wide variety of tasks using a wide spectrum of physical, technical and interpersonal skills. Here are a few tasks: Set up, vendor support, kids zone, gate monitors, photography, media and performer hospitality, bike valet, tear down). Volunteers are placed on a first-come first-served basis considering preferences as well as specific skills or qualifications. The more choices you offer the better but please be flexible and do not be discouraged. We make every effort to find the best fit for each volunteer and we strive to make each volunteer experience enjoyable! Who volunteers? Both individuals and groups volunteer to help with set-up or during the event. All individual volunteers must be 18 years of age or older.
