This is a group for anyone interested in birding, nature walks or field trips, gardening for birds, and studying bird behavior and enjoying our natural world. All skill levels are welcome.

Juanita Bay Park Bird Walk

Juanita Bay Park

A relaxed walk in the Park, seeing what birds are in the area. Meets the third Tuesday of each month. NOTE THE TIME DEPENDING ON THE SEASON: Walks begin 8 a.m. April-Sept; 9:00 a.m. Oct.-March. Bring binoculars and meet in parking lot. No pre-registration required.

Birding the Hot Spots of King County

Newport Hills Park & Ride (Exit 9 - Off 405)

Monthly field trip on fourth Monday of the month to wherever the birds are. Meet before 9:00 a.m. at north end of the Newport Hills Park-N-Ride (I-405, exit 9) and plan to be back by noon. Carpool passenger cost/person $2-4, depending on destination. No pre-registration required.

Bird Habitat Restoration at Marymoor Park

Marymoor Park, Meet at the kiosk

Join us as we work to restore the Audubon BirdLoop at Marymoor Park. We'll be digging out invasive plants, installing native plants and generally maintaining the area for good bird habitat. Even if you can join us for only an hour - every bit helps. Dress for the weather, wear sturdy shoes and bring snacks and water.
