  • Speaker: Ray Pfortner - Landscape Photographer

    Redmond Library

Ray Pfortner has agreed to speak to the Eastside Camera Club. Please check out his website: http://www.raypfortner.com/site/Home.html FOCUS ON COMPOSITION Ray Pfortner The difference between a good photograph and a truly memorable, compelling one is not the camera or lens nor the exposure or focus. It is always the composition - how the photograph is designed, how the elements are arranged within the frame. And the responsibility for the design rests squarely on the photographer. Explore the principles of great composition and when to apply them. but also when not to. Show 3 of your own photographs for feedback, ones you want to brag about or ones you want to learn how to design for more impact. Bring 3 photographs on a flash drive
