The best camera is the one in your hand - Mercer Slough and Blue Herons

From: Michael J. O.

Hi all,

I was able to get back to Mercer Slough this week, but to have a pleasant walk and not to shoot the scenery. I relented and used my 1.3 megapixel cell phone camera to capture the four Herons that walked and flew about the blueberry farm. If you enjoy nature I encourage you to spend some time there. Because of the location of the sun, the morning is best for shooting into the Blueberry patch and the afternoon for the slough while walking along the main trail. You can read more and see how one image turned out by visiting

Best regards,
