Eastside Games with Friends Weekly Meetup

Welcome to our weekly playgroup!

When it's warm outside Panera is a freezer inside - so please come equipped with a sweater!!! It'll make you feel Better!!!

We are a fun group of people who enjoy getting together to act foolish, make jokes, talk trash, laugh, and play games. Because of the spontaneous nature of our group, we usually show up not knowing what we're going to play. Some days we end up playing just "our faves". The truth is that we'll play any game if someone brings it and convinces us we want to learn how to play it. It's not about what types of games we play, it's that we play games.

We have games starting at various times until 8 with people arriving at various intervals as well. (We are usually able to stay until 9:30 to finish games.)  There really isn't any reason that you can't get into a game no matter when you arrive.

We play American and European games including: Network-building games, Card-based games, Bluffing games, Turn-based Resources games, Board games, Party games, Trivia games, Fantasy card games, Path-making games, Word games, Q&A games, Cooperative games, and Pure Strategy games.  We've played over 160 different games since August 2009!

Click here to see a list of all the games we've played.

I finally got to play the Second Story family version of Flash Point - Fun Fun!! and the four of us won "pretty handily" AND Rob saved the Qat!! -so, of course, we win automatically ;) *silly giggles* The four of us "stayed put" for a game of Takenoko. After these, I just hangout and chatterboxed etc... I headed over to B2B with a group of about a dozen where I played Roll through the Ages with Pete. I headed home before most of the others.
