Kicking Off (Uselessly)! First Kickaround...

Okay so hope you're all keen and ready to get things going with the first kickaround next week!

I've picked Wednesday as the forecast is a little better and should be some sun, but don't let anything else put you off... it's going to be good.

So we'll be meeting at 6.30 at the Manor House entrance to Finsbury Park - so Manor House tube is the closest station and we'll wander in a little a little after 6.30 to get going nearby - I'll e-mail the 'Yes's' my mobile number ahead so if you can't quite make it on time you can call and find us.

Should be a good bunch and a good laugh - again come in work gear, come in tracky bottoms and T-shirt, come in trainers or even shoes, but DON'T come in football boots - if you're taking things that seriously I can put you in touch with another group.

Likewise, do bring folk and RSVP them as pluses - but make sure they're aware that they shouldn't be very good and to not take it as a serious game (and likewise on the attire)

I've got a serviceable ball if not too great - if anyone wants to volunteer to bring an alternative please feel free when you RSVP.

So a good bit of exercise, no laughing as I fail to tackle you (at least not excessively), just a bit of a kickaround and possibly a few pints later...

Game on?

Cheers!

Tim

excellent - no-one took it too seriously and everyone was prepared to get muddy and wet too . A great first meet-up and here's to many more useless , lazy , unfit football kickabouts - I was FORCED to play as a child/teenager and hated it . Now as an adult I can choose to attend and loved it x even with bad knee x x
