Off The Grid (http://offthegridsf.com/markets) is now in Concord!
We'll meet at the Willows Shopping Center, near the soon to open Lazy Dog Restaurant at 9:45 a.m. We'll roll at 10 a.m. The plan is to ride south along the Iron Horse Trail through Concord, past Pleasant Hill BART station, through Walnut Creek and Alamo to downtown Danville before turning back. The total distance out and back is about 24 miles. If the group wants to cut the ride shorter, we can turn back earlier.
At the end of the ride, you are welcome to enjoy Off The Grid cuisine at the Willows Shopping Center (thank you Ed for the suggestion). Please bring cash if you plan to purchase food. About 8-10 trucks show up from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
There are plenty of water and restroom options along the way. The ride is essentially flat (gentle uphill to Danville) and paved with a few bridges and a number of street crossings. In case of a flat or mechanical issue, there are a few bike shops along the way including REI at the starting location and Pegasus Bikes at the turnaround point.

Please bring a spare tube (or two), a helmet and some cash. Hope you can join us.
