Update: Rescheduled from Sunday, February 9th to Sunday, February 23st.
Each year I sign up for the East Bay Regional Park District's Trails Challenge. This hike is part of the 2014 Trails Challenge and is listed as a moderate hike.
We'll meet at the Nejedly Staging Area (free parking and restrooms), hike up on the Hulet Hornbeck Trail, complete the Franklin Ridge Loop and head back on the Hulet Hornbeck Trail.
The hike is about 3.5 miles long with lots of ups and downs and an estimated 1,400 ft of climbing. I estimate the hike to take about an hour and a half and no longer than 2 hours, depending on the size and pace of the group.

Please bring water and snacks. Rain cancels. I'll try to give at least 2 hours notice if the hike gets cancelled due to rain.
