What we're about

Hi and welcome to Eclectic Introverts of OC!

This group is for those quirky introverts out there looking for support and a place to hang out with other fellow like-minded souls. As much as we love the comfort and quietness of our home, being in hermit mode can get a little lonely. I want to create a space where we can go out and feel at ease in knowing you’re not the only one with feelings of social anxiety, awkwardness or having a solitary disposition. I think it can be restorative being aware that others are in the same boat. This group will hold an encouraging atmosphere for everyone to venture out into the world without the pressure of conforming to extroverted ways.

My intention for this meetup is to help get introverts out of their comfort zones, myself included, and create new connections, ease the scary feelings of daily life, develop skills to cope with everyday challenges and forming our own community of introverts helping introverts. :-)

Planned events will include fun indoor/outdoor activities such as chilling at various coffee shops, going on nature walks, the movies, attending art galleries/museums, concerts, special indie related outings, book discussions, good eats/drinks, beach-related stuff, basically whatever you would like to have the opportunity to encounter is game for this group.

I’m excited to discover new places and experiences with you all!

Fullerton Hillcrest Park Stairs Workout! 💪

Lions Field

Get those endorphins pumping and work out with us at the Fullerton Hillcrest Park Stairs!

Imagine you've just taken a fantastic hike up the stairs and upon reaching the top of the mountain you've climbed, you sit down to gaze out over the canyon below as you catch your breath. A nice breeze caresses your skin, your heart is pounding, sweat is beading on your forehead, but you feel more energized than you have in weeks. Not only are you confident in your physical stamina, but you feel strong both emotionally and mentally as well. You feel healthy, energized, revitalized, and rejuvenated.

The stairs naturally allow for social distancing since you can't climb as a group anyway. We will follow the directional arrows. Each staircase is one-way (either up or down). After the work out we will try to cool down in the park area. There’s food options across the park in the Ralph’s plaza. Whoever wants to join afterward can hang out at the available tables.

Parking:
Free parking. There are several lots around the park. The one that leads straight to the stairs is the driveway right after the North OC Escrow Corporation/Car Detailing building. We'll meet at the shaded tables by the restrooms right next to Lion's Field softball court.

Here are some suggested essential items to bring:
- Hydration – you will get thirsty!
- Sunscreen
- Hat
- Sunglasses
- Sturdy shoes
- Snacks
- Backpack
