What does "conservation photography" mean to you?

I would have to say that conservation photography gives a voice to the subject matter. It tells a story, maybe even history. It brings life to what some may see as just "art" or a beautiful photograph. Conservation photography inspires and gets people thinking. It touches the soul of the viewer.

What is your favorite subject matter?

plants, landscape, people, architecture. I love B&W photography and being able to play with the textures, shades, and contrast.

What camera do you currently use?

Sony DSLR A100 (OLD but still does the job!) :)

I moved to San Francisco in August 2013 for graduate school. I was born and raised in Hawai'i. Photography has been a passion of mine since middle school. I love traveling, music, cooking, crafting...etc.
