What we're about
"The road to hell is paved with adverbs." -- Stephen King, On Writing
We are a group of authors who meet on alternate Wednesday evenings to provide constructive feedback on each other's writing. Each reader gets half an hour, to divide up between the reading and the feedback.
If you’re interested in checking us out, click on the “ask to join” link to respond to three questions. The quality of your writing, in answering these questions, is the barometer used for whether you'll be accepted or declined into the group.
New members have a free 60-day trial. During this period, invitations to RSVP to sessions will come to you via email. When you RSVP "yes" or "no," you will be able to see the location for our meetings.
To read, you must sign up to read at a meeting on this MeetUp site, under "Members," there's a "More" option -- use the draw-down menu to go to "Pages." Once there, click again onto "Edit this page," and scroll down to the date of the meeting at which you want to read. Use the same format as other writers listed, and hit "Save." Do not delete others' listings.
Only one upcoming meeting is listed with MeetUp at a time, but under "Pages," you'll see more upcoming dates for readings/feedback sessions.
We can explain it all better in person if you come to a first meeting.
