"Chi" is energy, Gong Means "work" - Chi Gong is using the body's natural energy to promote healing. Tai Chi is a slow, gentle flow of movement. Tai Chi is well-known as an ancient martial art. It can also be a very effective workout to deal with the stress of modern life. Because Tai Chi works on both the physical and mental levels of the individual, it is particularly helpful for people experiencing tension and anxiety. Although it isn’t a strenuous activity, it conditions the body while promoting healthy breathing by harnessing the power of “chi,” the life-force energy.
