This is a group for anyone interested in learning how to identify, harvest, and prepare edible and/or medicinal plants that grow in our yards and in the 'wild'. All skills levels are welcome, so we all can share what we know and ask questions about what we don't know. Let's get together to continue here to teach (and learn) more about the true value of many plants commonly considered just as weeds or as decorative plants and trees. Some of these plants contain much higher levels of nutrients than even organically raised vegetables. And who knows, learning what’s edible in the wild could someday save the life of you and your loved ones.
